Some of them are so vulgar that we cannot listen to them with our elders and children. Hence my aims would he make sure that we filter out the vulgarity and attempt to show the best of the best of Bhojpuri music.

This is a nirgun song (cultural song). Unfortunately we don’t have many of these in Bhojpuri. Does’t it makes a change from the double meaning Bhojpuri songs that we Biharis have to put up with. Kalpana is singing that; no one will come with you when you go from the world (die), all you will get is a couple of drops of tears and 2 feet of shroud (kafan). No amount of wealth, no house just your karma will follow you when you leave this word. The song has a lot of meaning if you listen to the track with interest - almost philosophical.
